Music Ministry

At Easter and Christmas, we like to gather singers together to form a bigger choir to support and celebrate these large Masses. Rehearsals are held in the weeks leading up to these Masses. If you love singing but can’t commit to a regular roster, maybe this group is for you!

For our smallest musicians! This group is aimed at pre-schoolers! We meet every Monday morning during the school term at Our Lady help of Christians, where we share a hot drink, something to eat, a play with the toys, plenty of conversation and a music session! There is no pressure with this group - the music session is very fluid, children are encouraged to join in, but there is no expectation they have to. Children are usually quite curious about the music, the actions, and the extra equipment we use, so end up joining in! In the warmer months we sometimes spill out into the sandpit area at the school next door, where play and conversation can continue. If a no-pressure, relaxing start to the week sounds like your whanau, then come and join us for playtime and music on Mondays!
