Welcome

Who we are — the Catholic Parish of New Plymouth.

Parish community gathered in worship and fellowship
Our Parish

One community, gathered beneath Mount Taranaki

The Catholic Parish of New Plymouth was officially formed on 6th September 2015, bringing together four previously independent parishes into one unified community: the Catholic Parish of New Plymouth — Te Parihi Katoriko ki Ngāmotu. Our parish embraces two Catholic colleges, three Catholic primary schools, and extends from Ōtako to Bell Block. The mother church of the parish is St Joseph's on Powderham Street.

Our Mission is to transform lives empowered by the Holy Spirit.
